PERSONAL STATEMENT

For more than 30 years, Sports Rehabilitation Consultants has provided affordable, high-quality physical therapy services in Cleveland’s Downtown and Midtown areas.

Patients come to me with injuries from work, play, or accidents. Or they may be battling the wear and tear of aging, trying to prevent a recurrent pain, or looking for ways to improve performance in activities ranging from their favorite sport to simply climbing stairs.

Having had many opportunities to learn from some of the best professionals in physical therapy—and having been a patient myself many times—I draw from a wide range of techniques and experiences when interacting with my own patients.

Using a functional approach to evaluate your physical problems, I look for causes rather than just treating symptoms, and devise an individualized treatment plan to address your pain, inflammation, muscle imbalances, or postural abnormalities; also deficits in strength, endurance, and flexibility, and movement and balance dysfunctions.

You will learn functional exercises, such as strengthening, stretching, balance activities, and postural or movement retraining, to correct your specific problem areas. I will employ manual techniques, along with thermal, electrical, or mechanical modalities as appropriate, to assist your exercise efforts. And you will be taught a home program to minimize your frequency of clinic visits.

You want results, and, as your physical therapist, so do I. We will communicate, and I will reassess your physical status so I can adjust your treatment program for optimal gains.
